A fast, flat loop along the Haifa coastline - the entire elevation range lies between 1 and 46 m above sea level, with open views over the bay and the Carmel ridge as a backdrop the whole way.

Welcome to the Haifa Marathon 2026.
This year we are not merely starting a marathon. We are creating a new tradition.
For the first time in the city's history, an international marathon will take place - a significant sporting event that joins a long line of leading marathons around the world. This is a special moment for Haifa, for the sports community in Israel, and for everyone who believes in a city's power to dream big and make it happen.
The Haifa Marathon will allow thousands of runners to experience the city from a new perspective, along a course that combines everything that makes Haifa the beautiful and special city it is in Israel.
Our vision is far broader than a single-day event. We seek to make the Haifa Marathon an annual tradition - an event that draws participants, families and visitors from Israel and abroad, and strengthens Haifa's standing as a leading city in sport, health, tourism and quality of life.
You are invited to be part of a great, moving sporting event, the first of its kind in the city's history. Whether you are running the full marathon, the half marathon or the shorter races, or coming to cheer from the sidelines - you are part of a historic moment and the birth of a new tradition.
